About the Game

ABOUT THE GAME

A quick tour of how Space Imperia 4X plays — turn structure, hidden fleets, sequential combat, and the tech tree that defines your strategy.

Quick Matches

Most Space Imperia 4X matches take 1–2 hours to complete. With a solid turn-based structure, players alternate between three turns of Movement, Combat, and Exploration, followed by one turn of Economy, where ships are built and techs are researched.

Whoever destroys their enemy's homeworld first wins.

Fog of War

Enemy combat fleets are unknown until first contact.
enemy combat fleets are unknown until first contact

Unlike most 4X games — all enemy fleet details are hidden to you until combat! You can see where they exist on the map, but you do not know what they are or how many ships are in the fleet.

This makes the fog of war very important and puts a high emphasis on scouting formations before battle.

Simple, Rewarding Combat

Sequential, turn-based combat.
sequential, turn-based combat

Ships fire according to their Combat Class — more advanced ships fire before other ships. Combat is sequential, meaning a ship can die before it even gets to act!

You can screen ships at the start of every combat, and retreat after the first combat round.
